What’s the Difference between a Valance and a Cornice?
Valances: A valance has a soft appearance that can look casual or formal, depending on the style. The fabric is attached to a headrail and hangs freely at the top of the window.
Cornice: A Cornice is hard top treatment, The board is upholstered with fabric.
What is a return or headrail size?
Return or headrail is the distance or projection your valance hangs from the wall.
Can I change to a smaller return or headrail?
Yes, for inside mount. If you don't have 3" clearance; then you may need to adjust the return/headrail size. The smallest return/headrail is 1 1/2" at no additional charge. However, for outside mount is not recommended to have less than 3" return.
Can I use my own materials?
Absolutely. Please contact us for an estimate.
What color lining do you use?
Standard lining color is white. Ivory is available upon request at no additional charge.

Should all window treatments in a House have the same treatments?
This is a personal choice. However, if you have several windows in an area with an open floor plan, normally the same treatment is used on all windows.
What is the exchange policy?

I have an arched or bay shape window; can you make valances to fit it?
Yes, we absolutely can. However, a template is required for arched windows. For bay window, the angled is required. Please contact us for an estimate.
