Warranty

Thank you for your interest in the products and services of California Custom Drapes.

​All of the products are designed for lifetime of trouble-free use. We provide a limited one year warranty against manufacturing defects, flaw in the product, materials or workmanship) under normal use during the Warranty period. During the Warranty period, California Custom Drapes will repair or replace the defective product. The warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only, it is not transferable and only applies to California Custom Drapes products.

What does this limited warranty not cover? 

​This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:​

·         Any conditions or damage resulting from negligence or unauthorized modification of the product.

·         Any conditions or damage caused during installation when not installed  in accordance with product installation instructions.

·         Defects that result from abuse, misused, normal wear and tear, alterations, exposure to elements, excessive humidity, or failure to follow use and care instructions. For example wear and t tear : fraying fabrics loss of color, damage from insects or pets, normal fading from sunlight, or loss of pleating.

·         Damage resulting from improper maintenance.

·         Damage resulting from natural disasters.

·         Theft, loss of a product.

·         Shipping costs, costs of removal, re-measuring and re-installation costs.

​What if I measure incorrectly? ​We will allow you to purchase a new product with the correct dimensions at 10% off the current price, Offer valid for 30 days after the order date and only applies to replacement of the same product originally purchased. If the measurement are only slightly off, we will work with you to find the best solution.

​What do you have to do? ​

To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate resolution. ​

State Law Rights ​

CALIFORNIA CUSTOM DRAPES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR ANY OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGE, LOST OR EXPENSE. SOME STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE, OR ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY BY STATE TO STATE.
